The Build Process

Initial Consultation
Whether you're interested in constructing a custom home, commercial project, or retro-fit project the process starts with a meeting to discuss your plans and ideas. Meeting in our office and on site are typically common ways to start. Seeing your site can help us visualize how to create the project you want in the environment and space that you have. If an architect is needed to produce plans, we can accommodate your needs by recommending an experienced architect to work with us. In addition to our learning about what you want to build, our meetings will also explain the build process to you and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Cost Estimate
Once we have discussed your ideas and desires, we can start the process of formulating an estimate. This process involves dissecting the plans piece by piece. During this process we will be meeting with subcontractors to communicate your desires and needs. In turn they will produce an estimate in their field of expertise. After all estimates have been collected we can complete the bid. An estimate typically takes two to three weeks to complete.

Retaining Our Services
Once we have completed our bid we will meet with you to go over the estimate and determine if our estimate meets with your needs. If the building cost estimate it too high, we can discuss with you ways to alter your plans to bring the project within your budget. Once you are happy with the cost estimate, you retain our service. We then put you on our production schedule and give you an estimated time frame for construction. Because we are custom builders, our experienced and qualified staff will work with you throughout the build process to ensure that the project, once completed, will be one you will be happy with for years to come.
